Project Description
St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center
BOISE, IDAHO
St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center was constructed between two existing buildings and swallowed a working skybridge. This conventional braced structure was built in a horseshoe shape to allow continued access to the skybridge during construction. A new access location was created on the second floor before the skybridge was removed allowing the hospital to be completed without interrupting the flow of medical personnel. Service, safety and structural integrity are the hallmarks of SME Steel.
