706 Mission project comprises two buildings. The Mexican Museum is the realization of the local vision to form an organization that would promote the rich culture of Mexico and Mexican-Americans. Over the years, the museum’s vision expanded to reflect the evolving scope of the Mexican, Chicano, Hispanic, Mexican-American, and Latino experience. The museum, relocated from a small obscure location at Fort Mason, is part of the Four Seasons Residences at 706 Mission located in San Francisco and is a ground-up and historic renovation of a Type I concrete mixed-use project. This project’s square footage is distributed across two structures with 45 levels above grade and three levels below grade. It includes 146 residential units; Subterranean parking totals 470 stalls. The project includes ground-level retail/restaurant shell space as well as a cultural museum coined ‘The Mexican Museum.’ The Four Seasons Residences at 706 Mission also feature a connection and restoration of the 115-year-old historic Aronson Building. The project also features 5-star hotel-style amenities.
The skills and craftsmanship of SME Steel are prominent throughout this project.
