Disney Cars Land
Disney Cars Land is comprised of a complex mountain range together with a racers building. Due to the complicated detailing, this project was design build utilizing 100% Building Information Modeling (BIM) capabilities. SME assisted with a detailer on site to collaborate a smooth erection process. Tab points on each piece of steel were surveyed ensuring precision installation. The mountain range is an intricately detailed design of tube steel and channel construction reaching 121 ft at its highest point. Despite the tight work area and limited lay-down space, there were no interruptions to park entertainments and it was completed right on schedule.
