Zions Bank Financial Center is a structure with varying tower heights advancing to nine stories at its highest point. This project required tight scheduling to accommodate erection between two existing buildings and no lay-down space. The structure extends over the drive-through area utilizing 235ʹ of structural steel creating a porte-cochère. Rolled tube steel and channel were incorporated to compose the entrance canopy and 96 CoreBrace™ buckling restrained braces were incorporated due to the high seismic region. Through SME Steel’s expertise, this project was completed two months ahead of schedule.
